This 5’2″ Baldwin model R is an American made instrument that came out of my home in Miami….not a piano that has been pounded to a pulp in an institutional environment. The hammers is in perfect conditions and should easily provide another 50 years of playtime. The solid spruce soundboard is crack-free and produces a full and beautiful tone. The strings and pins show no rust, the pinblock is tight and this piano is in rock solid mechanical condition!
Cosmetically, this piano is very clean, too! The cabinet has been well taken care of and don’t shows scratches. The style is accentuated by elegant brass ferrules around the bottom of the legs of the piano. This is a very “low mileage” instrument and will be a stunning addition to your living room!
We have pulled the piano apart with cover, blown out any dust, tightened any loose screws, shined up the brass hardware, made any necessary adjustments, tuned it up to A440….and she is ready to go! We are confident you will be extremely happy with this piano!
